Status

Now

A snapshot, not a feed. Dated, because an undated “now” page is a wish with a title.

Running

Blueship & Co. takes most of the week. Manufacturer verification, buyer replies, and whatever the review queue has not cleared. Early stage, which means the numbers are small enough that I still read every enquiry myself.

The software side is the directory, the review queue and the enquiry pipeline, all in-house. It is deliberately boring, because the constraint is judgement, not throughput.

Building

RCPT v0.1 — the parsing layer. Rules for the fields that can be matched on a receipt layout, and a labelled corpus started for the ones that cannot.

Grey OS — page tables next. Memory, then a heap, then interrupts on a timer. The repository’s checklist is the honest status report; the README is not.

Open to

One contract build slot, from March 2026. Android, on-device machine learning, or systems work. Scope and a price, not a deck.

Not this quarter

Agency work, retainers that assume a team, and anything that would need the week Blueship already owns. If the answer is no, it is a no about the calendar, not about the work.

Learning on purpose

Page tables and the parts of the UEFI specification that stop being abstract the moment a triple fault happens. OCR post-correction, which is where the RCPT parsing work is heading.

Last updated March 2026. If this page is more than a season old, assume it is wrong — the builds in it move faster than the dates on it.
